What's going on

So, here's what's been goin' on around here lately.
While celebrating our 20th Anniversary, my wonderfully thoughtful and incredibly generous husband gave me this absolutely GORGEOUS ring (he went to Jared - I've always wanted to say that LOL). It is a Past Present Future ring and I love it so much that I can't part with it to get it re sized just yet. But I'll have to soon.
T-ball season is here and after a visit to his cousins' house, Mark made out like a bandit with gear. Not only did he get this sweet Easton bag, they also gave him an awesome bat. He's going to look like an old pro on the field if we ever get to have our first practice. This is why we haven't had a practice yet. The first day of "Spring" break and we get 3 inches of snow. WTF???
I believe I should have become a teacher so that I could have off work the same times that Mark does. Because I DON'T have that time off, my boss is nice enough to let me bring Mark to work with me. So here he is working the phones like a pro. Doesn't he look excited to be there?
After rockin' my office for a while, we get to head over to Daddy's office to see what's up. Since Daddy is the boss, he's got his own office with a much better chair than mine. Again, WTF?? Mark is much happier at Daddy's office.
Those of you who know Mark know of his obsession with the tv show COPS. Still, he has always had a fear of police cars, so while at Daddy's work we cruised on over to the garage and Mark was able to confront his fear and actually sit in a police car. To really get into it, he wore the official police officer hat! He even talked to a very nice officer and shook his hand. It was a growing experience.
Mark grew so much that he felt the need to write me a ticket!
WTF????

One Tooth Down!

My big boy lost his first tooth!!
We were at his cousins' house, watching MSU win (Go Spartans!) and after the game was over Mark started rough-housing with his Dad, which is nothing new, but Dad said to Mark "I'm gonna get your tooth!" and sure enough, Mark flip off Ken's lap, landed on the floor with a bewildered look on his face and a tooth in his hand!
So, of course, I want a picture to commemorate the occasion, but I had to wait until the next day because I forgot my camera. But, that's ok. I sit down and tell Mark to smile so I can get a picture of where his tooth used to be.
What, you can't see it? Let's try again.
Oh sweetie, you are so handsome, but this just isn't working.
OK, we're getting there, but that tongue is just BOTHERING me!
So I finally just had to take matters into my own hands! (good thing my nail polish wasn't chipped too badly)
The Tooth Fairy visited last night and left Mark a lovely letter and $5.00!! This could get expensive.
