Xmas and Hockey Night in the MC

O.K. - hold on to your hats, there are a lot of pictures here!
First, here is Puddy, just because he's cute. This is taken with the old camera so we will see if there is a big difference when the new camera pictures come in.
Here is the tree and fireplace, again, with the old camera. Here is Mark after Santa came. I was surprised he kept away from the presents long enough to let me take this picture.
This is the first picture I took with the new camera. We went from 2MP to 10MP. Plus it has all the features - like this picture is taken with the "portrait" setting. I like it. Mark is charging his Nintendo DS. One happy boy.
Here is Mark playing with the Mario Cart Wii game. Fun for everyone.
Mark giving the thumbs-up on the earphones with his DS. This was taken with the "wide screen" feature on the camera. Thumbs-up from me too.
Here is Soady using the "kids and pets" feature. Funny how they lumped those two categories together to make it one . . . I'm just saying.
OK, so I wanted to update on the neighbor's house but didn't want to seem too much like a Looky-Loo with the camera so I was trying to be inconspicuous by taking this shot from my car! HA!
Two weeks is a long time to be off from school so in the hopes of keeping Mark happy and busy, we went to the movies and say Marley and Me (sniff sniff) and took Mark to the play area in the mall afterward.
Last night we went to sister-in-law Sandy's house. They are a hockey family and have a homemade hockey rink in their back yard. Here is Mark outside in the cold. You will see later why he is not on the ice.
Here is the homemade rink. Yeah, it has lights, and boards. I told you they were hockey people!
Here are the brave, hearty men outside by the fire. It is cold and windy at night in January in Michigan. They are so tough aren't they?
This is where the smarter people are, in the garage turned locker room. They are watching the Wings beat up on the Blackhawks on their outdoor rink. Go Wings!!
Here is the rink in action.
And here is Xmas Day in action.
