Last weekend I was lucky enough to have a girls night out with a friend who got a free room at the Motor City Casino (thanks Tammie!). This is the view from the 11th floor room.

You can see what's left of Tiger Stadium. I personally wish they would just tear it all down already - but that's just me.

Here you can also see the old train station which was probably beautiful in its day, but also needs to be torn down. Hopefully with
Kwame gone things will get moving - but probably not.

This is more toward downtown - Ford Field and
Comerica Park - both beautiful.

We had a
playdate with Mark's
BFF from
pre-school. Aren't they the cutest? Mark and I sure wish they went to the same school now. We Moms believe that these two were separated at birth because they are
soooo much alike. And that's a good thing because they are both great kids! ( I may be a bit biased here, but oh well).

Here is
BFF's little bro. LOOK AT THAT FACE!
Dontcha just want to pinch those cheeks??? I sure do (and I practically did). He was trying so hard to hang with the big dogs but all those stairs in our house just kept bumming him out. Dang those stairs!

Here is a younger Captain Jack Sparrow leaving Chuck E. Cheese.
ARRGG matey!

This guy is just too cool for words. So cool that he has to wear the shades in the house.

He's
almost smiling here. But that would break the mystique of his coolness, so he held it together and just kind of half smiled here. He just can't help being so cool.
