Nursery Rhyme Show 2009

This is the Nursery Rhyme show that the entire kindergarten class put on tonight. It was the most adorable thing. Before it started, Ken and I were hoping that it wouldn't turn into the kids play from the movie Parenthood - you know, when Steve Martin's kids destroy the play and he feels like he's on a roller coaster??? Mark actually had a moment there in the show where he was having trouble with his horse and he could have had a meltdown, but luckily his wonderful teacher saw it and saved him. We love her!

I know the picture quality sucks, but it was a full house for Mark's stage debut. I had a seat closer to the stage, but of course the tallest man on earth just had to sit down right in front of me, so I moved to the back.

This was not Mark's "show piece" (which was Humpty Dumpty and he was one of the Kings men) but I just love the way the kids rap the Baa Baa Black Sheep song :) And then they all scream "BAAAAAAA" Too cute.

Luckily, the school is selling a DVD of the entire show so we can have a really good view of it. Mark was front and center too :)
